Innocence



Looking through the eyes of a child
what wonders they see.
Playful fluffy clouds
foreign to me.
They observe their surroundings
with wonder and awe.
Pointing out things
We've never saw.

    Flashback, i remember some years ago..i happened to come across your sketches at your home..you were so shy, you won't let me see them..perhaps u thought i'd be critical of the work..and when you finally let me see..i saw some of the most beautiful sketches ever..naiveté the underlying tone in each of them..but the most striking feature was that your portraits were 'faceless'..such an intriguing beauty, i cannot define in words..u should put some of them here so that others can see what i mean ,and of course i'd like to hear when and how you started to paint faces??
    Coming to the present, the innocence retained, but both art and the artist have matured. By starting a blog you tell me, you have shed your diffidence and ready to taken on criticism in a healthy spirit..may you hold on to the other challenges in life with the same spirit..may the passion for art reach its pinnacle..thats my prayer sister.

    Thnx sis also 4 rmbring my "faceless" paintings... N as dey say "the expression a man wears on his face is far more important than the clothes he wears"... I thnk i took dis quote way 2 seriously n startd giving d faceless a face... Well yes time brings maturity...

    U r already talented as a designer i hav seen ur wrk in office but i dnt knew u had another side f u "an outstanding artist"...
